"Ich komm jetzt, eingeladen" (#201)

German text in the Gesangbuch:

1 Ich komm jetzt, eingeladen

zu deinen großen Gnaden,

mein Heiland, Jesu Christ;

doch scheu ich mich, mit Beten

vor meinen Gott zo treten,

weil meine Seel beflecket ist.

2 Ich bin ein armer Sünder,

wie alle Menschenkinder,

gestehe meine Sünd;

und weil ich ausgeschritten,

so hilf, Herr Jesu, bitten,

damit vor Gott ich Gnade find.

3 Ich will nun wiederkehren;

hilf allem Unfall wehren,

vergib mir meine Schuld.

Du bist für mich gestorben,

hast mir das Heil erworben,

drum üb an mir jetzund Geduld.

4 In deine blutgen Wunden

hab ich mich jetzt gefunden

und bin dadurch getröst.

Hilf mir in deinem Namen,

Herr Christ, und sprich drauf:  Amen!

du Sünder bist durch mich erlöst.

My prose translation:

1 I come now, invited

To Your great mercy,

My Savior, Jesus Christ;

Yet I am afraid, with prayer

To step before my God

Because my soul is stained.

2 I am a poor sinner,

Like all the sons of men;

[I] confess my sin;

And because I have stept out,

So help, Lord Jesus, to pray,

So that I find mercy before God.

3 I want to return now;

Help to defend [me] from all accident[s]

[And] forgive me my guilt.

You have died for me

[And] have won salvation for me

Therefore practice patience with me now.

4 In your bloody wounds

I have found myself now

And am comforted by them.

Help me in Your Name,

Lord Christ, and speak in it:  "Amen!

As far as I can tell, this hymn isn't in The Lutheran Hymnal, Lutheran Worship, or The Lutheran Service Book.  According to the Gesangbuch, the text is sung to the tune "O Welt, ich muß dich lassen."  Here's the TLH arrangement:
